Charteris Choppers operates a Hughes 500-D model Helicopter to carry out a variety of agricultural, commercial and tourism flying services and in 2020 has added a B3 Squirrel to its fleet – the first of its kind to be based out of Wairoa.
Charteris Choppers is licenced to carry out both Part 135 General Aviation Air Operations and Part 137 Agricultural Aircraft Operations. It also operates a Safety Management System (SMS) approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
