Charteris Choppers operates a Hughes 500-D model Helicopter to carry out a variety of agricultural, commercial and tourism flying services and in 2020 has added a B3 Squirrel to its fleet – the first of its kind to be based out of Wairoa.
Charteris Choppers holds both a Part 135 General Aviation Air Operator Certificate and a Part 137 Agricultural Aircraft Operator Certificate. It also operates a Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand accredited Safety Management System (SMS).
